Axolt’s Escape is an exciting endless runner mini-game within the Moon Mission platform, developed by Evermoon. In this fast-paced game, players guide the character Axolt through a perilous world, helping him evade dangerous Lunarian killer robots while collecting valuable in-game items. The goal is to survive as long as possible, earn Moon Steps, and collect Moon Fragments, all of which contribute to a player’s progress within Moon Mission.
Game Overview
Objective: Help Axolt outrun the Lunarian robots and collect Moon Steps and Moon Fragments while avoiding obstacles.
Gameplay: Axolt runs continuously forward, and players must navigate various hazards and enemies to extend their run time and maximize the items collected.
Moon Steps: Measure the distance Axolt travels and are used to upgrade your Moon Medal, increasing your Moon Power multiplier.
Moon Fragments: Collect these in-game items, which can be converted into Moon Power. Every 50 Moon Fragments equals 1 Moon Power.
How to Play
Control Axolt: Players use intuitive controls to make Axolt jump, slide, or dodge to avoid obstacles and robots.
Collect Moon Fragments: Gather as many Moon Fragments as possible during the run to maximize your Moon Power earnings.
Accumulate Moon Steps: The farther Axolt runs, the more Moon Steps you collect, allowing you to upgrade your Moon Medal for greater rewards.
Survival Strategy: The game becomes progressively more difficult as Axolt runs longer, introducing more complex obstacles and faster-moving enemies. Your skill in avoiding dangers will determine your high score.

Objective
Axolt (Player Character): The player controls Axolt, the main character of the game, avoiding obstacles and collecting valuable items.
Hunter Robot: When Axolt takes non-fatal damage, a Hunter Robot will start chasing him for 5 seconds. If Axolt is hit again during this time, he will die.
Dashing Robot: A fast-moving obstacle. If Axolt collides with it, he will die instantly.
Perfect Block: This object cannot be avoided by jumping or rolling. Players must switch lanes to avoid it. A direct collision results in death.
Evade Block: This obstacle requires either rolling or switching lanes to avoid. Colliding with it leads to instant death.
Jump Blocker: Players must jump or switch lanes to avoid this. If players scrape against it while jumping, they take non-lethal damage. A full collision results in death.
Moon Fragment: Collected to be converted into Moon Power or used to upgrade gadgets and score multipliers.
Game States
Running State: The player runs on the ground, collecting Moon Fragments and points while avoiding obstacles.
Jetpack State: Axolt flies in the air using a jetpack, avoiding aerial obstacles and collecting MOON Alphabet letters.
MOON Alphabet in Jetpack State
Collecting all M-O-O-N letters rewards the player with 1000 x Score Multiplier points and 50 Moon Fragments.
Re-collecting duplicate letters rewards the player with 100 x Score Multiplier points and 5 Moon Fragments.
Gadgets
x2 Score Multiplier: Doubles the score multiplier for the duration it is active.
Magnet: Automatically attracts nearby Moon Fragments, making it easier to collect them.
Shield: Grants temporary invincibility, protecting Axolt from fatal damage once.
Score Multiplier: Increases the overall score multiplier, allowing players to earn more points as they progress.
Moon Step Mechanic
Moon Step: This is a time-based mechanic that tracks how long Axolt runs in the game. It is measured from the start to the end of each game session. Moon Steps are critical for upgrading your Moon Medal and multiplying your Moon Power.
Tips and Important Considerations
Network Connectivity:
Before starting the game, check your internet connection by pressing Pause. If the game has successfully connected to the Game Server, the Quit button will function normally. If there is no connection, the Quit button will be unresponsive. Avoid refreshing the page during this time to prevent losing progress.
If you finish a game and encounter a Loading Screen, do not refresh the page or close the game window. The loading screen indicates the game is trying to send your results to the Game Server. Ensure you have a stable internet connection, and wait until the loading screen disappears to preserve your progress.

Moon Steps
Upgrade Your Moon Medal: The Moon Steps you collect during your runs can be used to upgrade your Moon Medal NFT, which boosts your ability to earn Moon Power.
Moon Medal Multiplier: The higher the level of your Moon Medal, the larger your Moon Power multiplier, enabling you to earn more from all activities within Moon Mission.
Moondust Medal (Lv. 1): x1 multiplier
Crescent Moon Medal (Lv. 2): x2 multiplier
Half Moon Medal (Lv. 3): x4 multiplier
Full Moon Medal (Lv. 4): x6 multiplier
Super Moon Medal (Lv. 5): x10 multiplier
Moon Fragments
Convert to Moon Power: For every 50 Moon Fragments collected in Axolt’s Escape, you will earn 1 Moon Power. These can be used to unlock exclusive rewards within Moon Mission.

In collaboration with partner communities, Axolt’s Escape offers exclusive Collab Skins. These branded skins allow players to customize their Axolt character, showcasing unique looks based on partner projects, unlocking special skills.
